Riverview United Methodist Church
Easter on the Alafia River, April 12, 2009

Gangs of volunteers worked on the parsonage for two Saturdays before Easter.  The church's money problems would be over if only leaves and palm fronds could somehow be made into a cash crop!

Finally, Easter Sunday morning arrived.  The weather was glorious.  Here are some pictures from the wonderful and inspiring Easter service.
The set up crew arrived at 7:00 AM.  There was still lingering fog in the air. that was burning away as we set up chairs, prepared the worship space, and brought in the lilies.
A contingent of our Boy Scout Troop was on hand to set up chairs and to assist our ushers.
