The Latest Prayer Concerns
and Praise Reports ...

  • Please pray for Anita Lloyd and Les Sprang.  Both of these members are struggling with aggressive cancers, and undergoing painful and debilitating radiation and chemo treatments.

  • John and Pat Nelson returned to church this week.  Both are slowly recovering from major health issues, and it was good to see their return.  Pat has a beautiful new hairdo.
  • Lift up Gary Moore in your prayers, as he continues to battle very serious cancer.

  • Please pray for traveling mercies for all of the High School and College students coming to Florida for Spring Break, as well for all of our snowbirds as they head back north after Easter.

  • The youth at RUMC competed in the Relay for Life event held at Riverview High School last Saturday.  Over 100 teenagers and adults participated and raised over $100,000 for the cure for cancer.  Congratulations to Donna Fore and the Masqueraders team and to all the participants at Riverview High School.

  • Please support Margie Phillips as she joins a Relay for Life event in Palmetto in a few weeks in memory of her friend and co-worker who died this year from cancer.

  • Art Schmidt recently completed the Gasparilla Kellogg 5K walk-a-thon.  He placed 6th place in the 80-84 years age group.  Congratulations to Art!
