The Food Pantry Expands Its Service

As part of the Federal Stimulus package, the United States Department of Agriculture will make more of its surplus food available to food pantries across the country.  RESTORE has been asked to expand its distribution service to the families in 33619 ZIP Code (Progress Village).  If you know a hungry family living in South Brandon, Riverview, Gibsonton or Progress, please spread the word that they may be eligible for free food distribution. 

RESTORE’s hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (except holidays) from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
RESTORE Continues to Operate through the Summer …

RESTORE food pantry is now serving up to 90 households a week, which represents nearly 300 individuals.  So any donations you can provide are very much appreciated.

We are in need of toilet paper, deodorant, razors, and bath type toiletries (soap and shampoo).  With the extreme summer heat, you can appreciate the need for these items!

You can drop donated items during open hours or seek out Clare, Muriel, Linda or any of the volunteers.  RESTORE also needs your paper bags (if in good condition) and plastic bags.  Also, think about donating your Sunday Paper coupons.  Many people who live on a tight budget really appreciate the savings!
